I know it sounds a bit pathetic, but it was four years ago today when I got my first Waylon CD 'Legends' a three – pack compilation.

Shooter In The Charts

Shooter's album 'Electric Rodeo' and 'Put The O In Country' are going up in the charts ER has moved from #29 to #28 granted not a very big step but an step all the same and PTOC has moved from #75 to #68 which aint bad considering it's been in the charts for over a year now.

Finally 'Walk The Line' is on at tha cinemas here in Orkney, it features Shooter Jennings portraying Waylon however with with the release of it on DVD just a month a way I'll be waiting till then.

There have been several direspecting remarks about Waylon this week in some articles;

To start with there was something about Shooter and Hank III and it said that they both had simailr up bringings as they had no dad around. Well I can tell you all that Waylon always had his dad around because Shooter went on tour with Waylon and Jessi and Waylon was always there to support Shooter in everything he did.

The next was a review on Amazon.com about Jessi's new album 'Out Of The Ashes' saying that the reason why Jessi hadn't made an album in twenty years was because Waylon was jealous of Jessi success. WRONG!!! The reason why she hadn't made an album in over twenty years was because at that time Waylon was comming off the drugs and then started looking after him during all is illnessess over the last 18 years of his life, including; a quadruple heart bypass, wrist reconsturction due to carpal tunnel syndrome and finally diabetes from which he died from.

 Both of them have been sent some sort of feedback by me and most of them on 'Waylon's World' and maybe one day they might get it right.

Shooter's new album was released last week and is doing very well in America, but for some reason you can't seem to be able to buy any of shooter's albums or jessi's in Britain.
